About AWSW

Ran by five girls from around the world, As We See the World is a blog where you can find hilarity during your worst days (such as when you have your period and your stomach is killing you and tea is just not helping but if you're a guy, then, uhm... when your favourite online game is having a scheduled maintenance) and of course, the normal ones. AWSW is a blog where you can see more of the world (well, some parts of it) through our eyes. Learn different cultures in on page, and maybe find amusement, cute cats; drunk cats; cute AND drunk cats; music (that is so good, you will want to share no mo); themed posts that are published monthly (yes, just like those glossy magazines with airbrushed models minus the payment and the murder of your self-esteem); and if you're sick of us (but that would make us sad with a capital S), we cater articles that are written by other people!

How was AWSW created?
You know, when a mummy AW and a daddy SW loves each other very much, they kiss a lot and-- oh wait, that's a different thing.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land-- not really. Okay, this story actually took place last year and is still ongoing but you know, most girls have a thing for fairytales (and fairy's tails). So anyway, five normal girls who were once total strangers, living in different kingdoms (or countries, whichever you like); living their own lives (drinking martinis in little cute champagne glasses with the dainty umbrellas, dating hot boys who look like Hugh Jackman) and were 'totes' fine with it; however, the fairy god mother (aka the internet because let's face it, magic ain't in no mo) brought them all together to fight evil (cos an idle mind is the devil’s workshop?) and the rest was history!

But then just like all fairytales with pretty princesses, there's a wicked witch that's going to stop the happily ever after bit. So the wicked witch, also called time zone, came in the scene and ruined everything. After a few months, AWSW went on an indefinite hiatus but now it's back! We certainly do not know if we will all live happily ever after or if we will turn into cat ladies, who read Jane Austen novels all day, but hey, it's the present that matters the most, right?
